During 14 months of chemotherapy, Ada saw how many women abandoned treatment because they could neither afford transport nor understand the complex medical terms thrown at them. With the compassionate guidance of her daughter, Dr. Sarima, the family created a network of women mentors to keep other patients anchored in hope.
